Update remotely (Base Station)

With the Base Station you update tags over radio without approaching each one. One base typically covers up to about 4,000 tags. Typical software → shelf time: 60–80 seconds.

Prerequisites

Base Station installed, powered, and online
Map and tag associations up to date
Catalog / price list ready
Radio coverage verified (at least on a sample)

Steps (high level)

Select the correct location.
From the map (or item list) choose the tags / SKUs to update.
Set the new price or apply the price list.
Send the remote update.
Wait the typical 60–80 s.
Spot-check on the floor (near and far zones).

Batches and promotions

Remote is the natural mode for:

Full price-list changes
Promotions across multiple gondolas
Multi-aisle alignment at defined times

If some tags do not respond

Check for a geographic pattern → possible coverage issue.
Check Base Station status: offline / weak signal.
Use proximity as fallback on the shadow zone.
